Provides for rules for the exercise of advisory of securities activities and securities portfolio manager set forth, respectively, in paragraph 1 of Section 6 "in fine" of Resolution 961/84 and paragraph 2 of Section 15 of CVM Normative Instruction 40/84. The President of the Securities Commission publishes that the joint committee, in section held on the present date, according to Section 27 of Law No. 6.385, of December 7, 1976, decided to issue the following Normative Instruction: I. - The advisory of securities and securities portfolio manager activities foreseen, respectively, in paragraph 1 of Section 6 "in fine" of the National Monetary Council Resolution 961 dated of September 12, 1984 and paragraph 2 of Section 15 of CVM Normative Instruction 40/84, may be exercised by individuals or legal entities duly accredited with CVM. II. - The candidates to be accredited with CVM to exercise the abovementioned activities, as long as such activities are not specifically regulated, shall, in addition to having proven experience in the securities market, attend the requirements set forth in the National Monetary Council Resolution 527 dated of April 15, 1979, in order to take charge as officers in broker companies.
